Federation Home was established in 1982.  Federation Homes is sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford with funds provided by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.  Federation Homes provides housing for the elderly (62+) and handicapped.  We have 100 apartments.  The average tenant age is 78.  Many of the tenants have lived here since our inception.

The goal of Federation Homes is to provide a safe, secure home with supportive staff; to promote independence; and to offer a diversified educational, cultural, and social calendar of activities and programs to enhance quality of life for our residents.  Our mission is to support our residents’ desire to remain in the community for as long as possible.
