In June 2000, Federation Homes became a Managed Residential Community (MRC), enabling it to make available to residents and their families a variety of supportive services. In conjunction with this change, Hebrew Home and Hospital opened an Assisted Living Services Agency (ALSA) office to offer to our residents nursing services and to help facilitate assistance they so choose.

An Assisted Living Services Agency (ALSA) is licensed by the State Department of Public Health, to provide health related services in a Managed Residential Community.

ALSA guarantees that general nursing services and assistance with daily activities are available to all residents, including those with chronic and stable medical conditions.

Located on the first floor, adjacent to the Main Office, the ALSA Office is open to the residents Monday through Friday during posted hours. The nurse is in the building 20 hours per week.
