Each private apartment has a living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen with full size refrigerator/freezer and four burner stove and oven. Units are carpeted and have their own air conditioners and heat controls.
Transportation to town services is provided by the Bloomfield Minibus and the Connecticut Transit Authority.
A Kosher meal is provided weekdays by CRT in the dining room.
A food pantry is available in the building to residents.
Laundry facilities are located on the first floor.
A podiatrist visits Federation Homes every 10 weeks.
A lending library is open to all residents with books, audio books and CDs. In addition, E-book readers are available.
A meeting room is available for group events and for watching television, movies, and playing video games
Staff is on site five days a week to provide programming, wellness, advocacy, service coordination, general maintenance and other services as needed.
Maintenance personnel is on-site to address problems with the physical plant.
